I've been actively involved in the creation of the Master Library for Accell Group's brand websites. With a focus on consistency and user experience, the Master Library empowers seamless communication between development and designers. It has been an exciting journey, utilizing Figma, Storybook, and other tools to craft a great design system. Through testing and collaboration, we've addressed inconsistencies and implemented improvements. My contributions to flow(chart) creation, building components and diving in Visual Studio Code have added value to the project.

From the Master Library to Master Templates

The Design System is designed in Figma, with different pages corresponding to Storybook, an open-source tool used by developers to develop, test, and document components. The collaboration between UX designers and front-end developers was essential for the success of this project, especially as the Design System grew more complex using Storybook's structure and Design Tokens. The project aimed to create a Design System that would benefit both designers and developers, streamlining both their workflow.

During the project, I took charge of creating a test for the search function. Using the Survey method and UsabilityHub, an interactive survey tool, we could gather valuable insights. Multiple feedback sessions with the team resulted in improvements.

Efficient inventory flow

As a part of the project, one of my key learning objectives was to create flowcharts for store inventory. Upon presenting various options incorporated valuable feedback, resulting in the successful completion of the flowcharts

Designing for all

During my internship, I've been focused on creating accessible designs. I follow WCAG guidelines, utilize tools like Stark to ensure color contrast, and constantly seek to learn more about inclusive design. My aim is to make all projects accessible and welcoming to all users.
